Macau LRT Project - Sai Van Bridge
We are Independent Bridge Consultant for Sai Van Bridge, reviewing and checking the structural design for the incorporation of a new LRT system running through the centre of the existing concrete box girder bridge crossing. The main spans consist of a cable-stayed structure while the approach viaducts are continuous prestressed concrete construction. The modifications required to the bridge crossing include installation of a guideway within the concrete box deck, with modification to emergency escape passages and to the train and road restraint systems within the box.
