Blackfriars Thameslink Project - Bridge 410E Replacement UK
Scheming and detailed design of a mainline railway bridge replacement scheme within Blackfriars Station in London, UK.
The project included the following works:
- Underpinning and strengthening of the existing bridge foundations;
- Preliminary design of the temporary slide beam and towers;
- Temporary props for the permanent works to ensure stability in the temporary condition;
- Design checks of the permanent works for the temporary condition;
- Detailed design of a temporary rail bridge.
This was done as part of our ongoing post contract award work with the contractor.
